Is hearing the gas moving normal? It's about 3/4 full and on stops and gos I can hear the gas moving back and forth. It just started last night. FYI it's on a 06 Tc

 

. I heard it on mine also an 06. I guess it depends on how hard you stop but it should not hurt anything.

 

When I gutted the rear of my car I was able to hear the fuel sloshing around. With my full interior in i can't hear it...

 

first ive heard of this wierd as the tc is usualy pretty sound proof

 

I always hear gas sloshing around when the tank is full. Anything below 3/4 though, I don't hear it.

 

Turn the radio up.

I havnt noticed it in my tC yet but i have noticed it in car that i previously owned

 

I should have mention my cars back its gutted. It's been like that for 2 weeks but this is the first I filled it up past half a tank...

 

^That's probably why. I only heard it while the rear of my car was gutted.

wow, never heard my gas slosh around, but uhm...what do you expect? you think toyota has some special gas tanks that makes the fuel inside immune to the laws of inertia and thus not slosh around when you accelerate, brake and turn?

Maybe I'm just deaf, but I have never heard the gas in sloshing around in any car I've owned

 

You can hear it when u accelerate and hit the brakes kinda hard but not too hard
