I was wonder if anyone here has a good set up for the HKS Exhaust. I have one myself, but personally have no clue what so ever on what kinda of good pipes(s-pipes, down pipes, custom pipes, every single piping under the car) out there to get along with the HKS. I want my car to rumble more like a wrx. which is sweet! i know the megan complete set up sounds like it, but i wanna stick to my HKS since im low on $. looking for some durable pipes incase if i ever wanted to go turbo. some help appeciated.

one more thing... are 80$ custom pipes worth it? a friend of mine was going to hook me up with one where a shop can do it for me... well, thanks!

thats what im doin. i have an alphaworks and am getting a zpi s-pipe and im having the midpipe built and getting the hks after i sell my concept g

 

i just found a HKS exhaust cheap and i'm gonna see if it works with my the mid pipe from my megan drift spec next week

HKS + Megan S pipe + Megan Mid... Good or bad? i wonder how that one eould sounds like.... hmm.... will these even fit together?

 

well they all fit together perfectly, just got finish about 15 minutes ago. you'll just need longer bolts to mate the HKS and drift spec piping togther

i had the drift spec exhaust already i got the bolt from advance auto parts. sorry i can't get a clip cause i don't have a camcorder but its a little louder than the drift spec muffler which is already loud

 

they dont make megan drit specs anymore do they? if they still do where can i buy them?

also the pipe doesn't have a 2.25" inch inlet like it says it's a 2.5" inches all the way through

 

oh i see.... so what made you wanna switch to hks? do you like it better than the megan can?

 

i like the hks muffler better but the megan axle back section burned my bumper and hung really low to the ground and scraped alot, that really made me switch
