i just got a new header for my 07 TC, and i was taking off the o2 sensor off the old header, and it was cross threaded, now i dont want to shell out the 190 dollars for a new o2 sensor, would there be any way to take the two pieces to the dealer and get it warrantied... i've never had either piece apart, and they came off crossthreaded... so what do i do... my new header has the o2 sensor in, but maybe only two threads of it.. since i dont want to mess that up either... please help!

 

since it's an item that is not meant to be taken off until it has a failure then no they won't warranty it

 

if its cross threaded u will need a new o2 sensor

 

The o2 sensor comes cross threaded..part of the reason it's so hard to take out and why you have to be VERY careful when removing it
