Default help please.

hey guys i have a question. i have the Seibon VSII-Style carbon fiber hood and my car is sitting in the driveway while my s/c is being worked on and i was wondering if the rain that is coming down (i live in the wetest part of oregon) is gonna hurt my alternator? its been sitting out for 3 weeks now and expect to be running in about another 2 weeks.

is the hood off.........if not you have no worries........if it is off cover the alternator with a garbage bag and duct tape it closed.

I always wondered about these hoods with the reverse cowl getting soaked from the rain. Does that not affect the engine at all?

Well I know my Kami hood the water that goes in misses everything in the motor and hits the ground, not sure about the Seibon I think it is aimed over the valve cover so it might run off the face of the motor.
