Default HKS exhaust install issue...

so heres my situation...i had the Megan racing driftspec full catback and wanted a change. i bought the HKS axleback and when i went to get it put on, i was told they were having a _____ of a time getting the megan and the hks to fit together. long story short, it got on there with some coaxing but on the way home the CEL came on. checked at autozone today and the code said MAF/exhaust leak. my question is...is the connection between the hks and megan possibly loose or on wrong or is there some other issue that could be making the CEl go off? thanks

This doesnt make any sense because im pretty sure there is no sensor between the mid pipe and axle back to know that there is an exhaust leak..you could go with no axle back and still not throw a cel.. if it says MAF then i would check your intake.

^ When he forced the axelback onto the midpipe he may have pushed the S-pipe around either where it meets the midpipe or the header. It works best if you loosen everything and work your way from the header to the axelback to make sure everything sits nice and perfect. Especially mixing and matching companies.
