Default HKS Hi-power exhaust

Is there any disadvantages to installing a turbo-sized exhaust if u do not have a turbo'd engine but plan to add one one in the future?

No theres no disadvantages, well maybe people thinking its "rice" because its so big. I personally dont care i love the look and sound of mine. IMHO the HKS beats all other axlebacks (vs. DC, TRD,) for turbo because of its straight flow. All of the other axlebacks i've seen (correct me if i'm wrong) have the same path as the OEM one, with a crazy 180 degree bend So if you're planning on turboing ur tC, i recommend the HKS.

I really like mine, nice sound, and now that i'll be going turbo,
it'll work just fine.

180 degree bend is actually straight

i don't have my turbo on yet, and it has a nice deep sound
to it, also a slight increase in throttle response.

If you go turbo size exhaust aka like 3" then you will lose some torque.

the bolt-on hks exhaust is fine for the supercharger. its diameter is only 60mm=2.36 inch so you do no have to worry about it being too big

Yeah, I'm loving the HKS exhaust as well, I put mine on the night I got my tC, probably had it for under an hour and I put the exhaust on :D...Ever since I've been in love with it...Definitly recommend it.

I have the Greddy Evo 2. Its pretty much straight through. You can see the muffler canister through the rear wheel on the passanger side. But it flows just fine. Doesn't bolt up like the TRD or DC exhaust.
