SEARCH their are countless threads on this topic

but the HKS is very loud and deep, but with the addition of a header it will get raspy any exhaust on the tc will so you'll need to add a res if that's your plan.

Weird i searched but couldn't find a topic that compared the two on sound. I'm not planning on getting a header, your saying HKS would be the way to go instead of drift spec?

yes im saying get a HKS i have it, its a great sound. you'll like it, if you can deal with the drowning on the highway. megan is crap, a lot of people use their mid pipe and s pipe but other then that their not good from much

you tube is a good idea but the video quality is all over the place so its sometimes hard to get the right idea.

yes tons but that's with any exhaust that's not TRD, if you want quite in the car get a TRD if you want a bad a88 sound get a HKS, I've had a few exhausts on tc, go with HKS

yeh definitly go with the HKS. I just got mine installed yesterday and I LOVE it, words cant describe the sound that it produces.. the tip on it is big though, so when you open the box make sure your sitting down cause you'll faint when you first look at it. hahah I just about did.

HKS is good but its only an axle back. Megan exhausts are pretty good too but a lot of people on here dont like them or love them. Megan makes some pretty good parts IMO. A lot of the Honda guys use them. Plus the ones who complain about Megan exhausts are usually people who talk about the Drift-spec catback. For the price and what it comes with, i'd get Megan any day over the HKS Hi-powered axle back.

Not to mention the HKS looks like a huge coffee can. I'd only get an exhaust like that if i was boosted or all motor. Having a huge exhaust like that and not having any power gains is just asking to get clowned upon.
