HI guys,

i have the hks reloaded filter. Ive been having a hard time discovering if these filters are washable or not. If anybody has any idea please let me know.

Is it one of the foam ones?

 

The ones I have used int he past are not........but some amonia and Dawn dish soap and let it soak for a good 20 minutes in a bucket of hot water then rins it from the inside out and it can be reused,I do not recomend it but in a pinch it will work........also let it dry before reinstalling or motor go crunchy bad.

 

most likely not washable with the usual K&N filter recharger kit since foam filters do not need oiling. but you can probably do as BZinn1 said, just doing oil it afterwards.

 

there is also the dry foam filters too,so be sure which one it is,think the wet is 3 foam and dry is two or one....it works but is just a temp fix till money to buy new one really.
