can anybody tell me how much power or how fast is a tc after changing the air filter and exaust?

 

lol i am goin to do that my guess is 4 or 5 hp or less

 

 

not enough to actually make the car faster just better throttle response probably. 5-7 whp max gain with an intake and exhaust.

 

probably about 5-6 WHP. whether or not it would make the car faster down the 1/4 is hard to say. other factors remaining unchanged, it may make the car about a tenth faster, but no more. Good luck

 

so based on that should i start by changing other part instead of the CAI and exaust?

 

I heard you get better gas mileage (slightly, maybe 1-2mpg) because with a better I/H/E the engine doesnt have to work as hard to "push" the exhaust out, therefore making it more efficient.

I may be totally wrong, so if I am, I apologize.

 

i believe gmoney dynoed his car with Intake and Header with 10-12whp.... and headers gain more power than exhaust...

 

yeah.....and spend an extra $4k on one that's comparibly equipped as we have stock.........

My advice to you Ihatemyhonda, is to find something better to do with your time than tryin g to bother people who do not care about you or your car.

wow, think that honda guy got lost and didnt know how to type hondatech.com in the URL. Anyhow, Nearly all the intakes alone dyno 6whp, the exhaust's on avg (axle-backs) have been good for 3whp by themselves.....So, lets say 9whp gain from all that.

 

come on guys who cares wtf this dude says anyhow...but i think he has brain damage, he should have said RSX type S and he would have had me!!!
