I have a customer that wanted an air fuel gauge installed and some one told him that it connects to the oxygen sensor, so he tried on his own to hook it up to the sensor and it triggered the CEL nothings wrong with the car he just needs to reset it and it shouldn't come back on.....

can't you just disconnect the battery and it should reset the ecu?

Are you sure it's not the maintence light that comes up if you need an oil change?

You can also get a OBDII to reset the light. I got one to reset my CEL cause of my header until I did the antifowler trick.

If you have an Alphawerks header we can get you one of our processors for the ecu at cost...
