Default how do you install this CAI?

I'd like to know exactly how to install an Injen CAI. I hear a lot of people saying that you have to take out the bumper and some saying that you dont, so I'd like to know exactly how to install it.

If it fits anything like the K&N, you do not need to remove the fender. You will only need to unscrew the plastic lining in the wheel well on the driver side so that it can be pulled back. you will have access to inside the fender by doing that. the instructions for the K&N are on their website www.kandn.com. they are picture by picture. Hope this helps. If not, call Injen.

To make your life easier, you DO need to remove the front bumper cover. But don't panic, it's not difficult at all to remove. Just have a friend help you so you don't drop the cover and fawk it up. The top section of the intake is the easy part. fishing the lower pipe through the fender gets a little tricky. I'd recommend wrapping the tube so as not to scratch it. Just take your time and follow the instructions Injen sent you. It took me and a buddy a little over 2 hours to complete the install, and it's well worth the time. Guarantee you'll love it. Good luck!!

shut up dude, he doesn't need to take the bumper off, there are a total of about 5-6 screws/plastic clips, then from the bottom of the car you can peel back the fender liner and you will know exactly what to do, I followed the instructions from K&N to the WORD just to see how much R&D they did, it didn't skip a beat and never left you going um what do I do now. so go get the instructions from kandn.com

I don't think it's really necessary to tell the guy to shut up because he's trying to help. I took off the bumper for one and the left front wheel just because it made things a lot easier for the me. The install took longer than it should have because the cold air extention took so long to fit but you have to twist and turn and get it in there. That's how I did it.
