Default How much power/hp?

will I notice once I install an injen CAI, TRD exhaust, and DC headers? Does driving become a lot more fun and a lot more "vroom" from these 3 individual parts?

maybe about 5 hp, could be more, but the trd exhaust only sounds good, but is just as restritive as stock exhaust.

the intake and header you have chosen is fine, but when you combine an aftermarket header with exhaust, then your going to get a raspy exhaust note that will require some custom exhaust work to quiet down.

Will a resonator take care of the rasp? Also, what exhaust do you think would be better performance-wise that doesn't have an obnoxious or "ricey" sound?

apperently you need about 30 inches of resonators to reduce the noise.

i'm going to do exhaust wit resonators, and a high flow cat, whic should mellow out the sound just a bit.

What advantage does catback have over axleback? I don't really understand the differene between the two.

catback actually provides somewhat of a performance increase where as the axle-backs also known as rear-sections only make a cool sound

oh yea its kinda pointless to go catback on a tC if your not going s/c or turbo because the tC is made as a low compression car. Switching over to a catback without force induction will make you lose back pressure causing a lost in performance but iono maybe an intake might help.

you would probably make 10 to 15 more peak hp .... lose some low end gain top end

when i put in my intake an exhaust it felt faster, but it was probably because of the sounds which are cool!

i would will tell you to save all your money and either buy a turbo or supercharger. if you wanna go the easy way go s/c!

after you have bought all that other stuff, you probably have spent 1200. thats not even installation. plus headers void your warranty!

I think ur confused a little. Going catback is not pointless for N/A and you will not lose back pressure. Most catbacks for our car are 2.25" (same as stock) - 2.5" which is not enough to lose back pressure. Now, upgrading the piping to like 3"+ would cause a loss in back pressure and should only be done on higher hp applications...such as turbo or sometimes s/c'd.
