Alright i need your guys help. I want to go with a dc race header, magnaflow exhaust, megan s pipe, lightweight pulley, and aem cai. But if i get these is it just gonna move the powerband around or will i gain a good amount of power everywhere. Like waht i mean is i kinda want more power everywhere throughout the powerband. any help would be great thanks.

 

You will gain some power, but how much power are you looking for? Is this a daily driver? Ever planning on going FI?

 

Im not looking for huge gains i just wanna be able to feel more power so probably like 25-30 h.p. I wanna beat all the loud piped cars in my town lol. Maybe i should get it ported too but where. thanks

 

ur lookin at around 20whp...the power increase is not through the powerband...only in the higher parts of the powerband. The only way to get an increase across the powerband...is go f/i...even more specifically, supercharger

 

well i wont loose any low end power will I. And how can i get a resonater to keep the rasp from the header down do you buy it and put it in or weld it in thanks.

 

You will loose some lowend, but you gain on high end. Getting a header helps get some lowend back, atleast mine did. But once the car is about 2.5-3k, you feel the power more. yes you buy the resonator and you have a shop weld it into the mid pipe for you

 

I dont want to go f/i so is there any way with another 800-1,000 dollars i can get 20 more h.p. Like what would be best from your guys scion knowledge, port and polish, cams, higher comp piston which is like 600$. And if i chose one or two of these where would i gain power. I really appreciate the help peace
