Please don't make fun of me, I am not good at mechanical things with cars and I am really frustrated right now. I got my K&N drop-in filter and I can not get it into my air box. I just can't close the airbox with it in? What do I do?

(the bigger/thicker part of the filter is facing down like the stock one was - i think thats right)

 

On the stock one, I know there's a corner that's squared off and the rest are round. You'll have to look at the detail of the box to find out which way it goes. You might just have to turn it around.

 

yep, you're right. Comparing it to the stock helped in determining that it was backwards (it looked the same until closely examined). Also, I had to secure the back of the airbox before I was able to JUST lock the box in the front. It took some elbow grease to be honest. Thanks ack154
