idea i came up with
i was helping my friend install his TRD intake today and i came up with an idea, but i wanna see what you guys think of this. some people pop out that lower grill section to allow better airflow, but you can bet it's letting dirt and rain and leaves etc in there too. what if i went up in there and potentially zip-tied a panel filter in place behind the open vent. that way, more and cooler airflow and better filtering of my intake air. call me crazy but i might just do this.
You're not really the first to come up with this actually.
Many people have just drilled holes in that little grille to allow some more airflow, while still keeping some sort of a barrier there.

I would love to test out the AIT theory with an interfooler because I forget what company used to make them for civics but every ricer in my hometown years ago had one... anyone non-turbo have an intercooler laying around and a Scangauge?
