Default Im getting a New TC and got questions =)

Im getting a Scion TC this week. Ive read that this car is really loud, What can i modify to make it a bit more quiet. Another thing, Ive been reading here and alot of you mod you TC. What should be modified, I know everything from stock sucks but what should be the main parts of the TC that should be modified(Better handleling, Better Braking etc), I love speed and im a good driver but i know jack about cars. It would be really helpful to get some insights... Thanks

the TC is very quiet. as far as modding thats really up to you, and how much you are willing to spend.

I wouldn't say everything stock "sucks" ... compared to more cars in it's class, it has a couple legs up. I would say if you're going for handling... consider springs/shocks, rear sway bar, front strut bar, etc. Braking? Well, I think there are a big brake kit or two out there for the tC, so you'd have to shop around.

Did you... test drive the car? I would hope you would before you buy it. Take a thorough test drive, and make your own determinations from that about how loud it is or is not, and what areas of performance need the most work. Then come back with questions. Dont make plans to mod the car based on what you hear, because what you hear is just other's opinions, your view may be completley different. That's what I would suggest.

yeah, I could honestly just drive the car stock, its a great daily driver, it has more features than most any car in its class and is great as is. So far I have only installed a CAI, not much for the gains but just the sound of course the few ponies are decent along with the few mpg you pick up
