Indexing spark plugs
anyone try this yet? has it shown any gains....i read an article where theoretically it helps the power increase, becuase it burns more efficiently(but thats according to advanceautoparts.com......yes i get bored easily)
just wondering...i searched for it, couldnt find anything

interesting.....wonder what that would do for a 350 then....
if i had the funds and a place to dyno it, then i happily would show the results...
and according to that article, the exhaust was the best power providing angle....but thats according to them....
Edit: what about fuel mileage??

i'll try it this weekend....and probably look for mainly any fuel improvement....so i want the back side of the electrode(that little metal stem, side connecting to the threads) to go towards the intake, or towards the exhaust?
Sorry, I need a bit of clarification. So by indexing, you simply mean the direction that the gap opening is facing? I can't imagine this doing anything whatsoever, but hey...just since I heard about it, I'll make sure mine are all facing forward next time they're changed...
Actually the gap should face toward the intake valve for a "better" burn, so the flame then travels toward the exhaust valve. Sounds silly, but no problem trying it, right?
