Injen CAI with AEM bypass valve

Default Injen CAI with AEM bypass valve

did anyone install a bypass valve with their CAI? anyone have pics?

i think it wasn't possible cuz it's a different size. ones bigger than the other. find out if it's possible. if it is.. i'll go and do it.

I do but I don't have a digital camera to take pictures of it. When it gets sunny around here again I will borrow my friends digital camera and take pictures of it.
You have to cut the intake on both peices where it has the silicone hose connecting the two. Both sides will have to be cut about 1/2-3/4" to make the bypass valve fit.

Any response to this! can the bypass AEM valve fit on the injen? if the mod of cutting the pipe is needed any tips on DIY on how they cut it??

i did! just wondering if anyone else did it - i wish there was a video to see the by pass valve in action to see how it really works not just a picture or concept =P

how do the 2 pipes connect to the bypass valve? is it like connecting the two original injen intake pieces?

exactly, it's a very tight spot so you might need to maneuver the pipes around a little bit, but it fits perfectly. ill try to get bigger pics up so you can take a look.

would be appreciated if u can get larger pic... btw how did u cut the intake parts? circular saw? just curious cuz i ordered the 3" aem bypass valve and dont wanna mess things up. thx.
