Default INJEN CAI + DC SPORTS HEADERS

Hi, i just put my INJEN CAI with my DC SPORTS headers.
well to tell you guys the truth the car moves better but still not my speed type.
for me it's still SLOW LIKE HELL.
maybe the S pipe with exhaust needs to be changed so i can feel the Thrill.
what do you guys think ?

one thing is very sexy the Cold Air gives the car a More agresive sound when the VVTI kicks in. that is very awesome.
give your comments they are welcome.

wow...you know very little about this car...

vvt-i is always working, it doesn't kick in like v-tech.

look, intake, header, s-pipe and exhaust will net you about 15 whp at the most in total. you can add pulleys to get about 20 whp.

how fast are you really looking to get? if you want a real bump in power, you gotta add boost. supercharger or a turbo kit. if you think the car is "slow like hell" then a few n/a bolt-on's ain't gonna get you where you want to be.

Drax perfectly said.

If you want a fast car, better go car shopping again lol, tc's are stylish and have decent power, but aren't "fast" persay unless you invest the mula to make it move. If you change the exhaust you will create less backpressure (less punch at the lower rpms) but increase the power in the mid to high band range.

It's a little of both. Bolt-ons for the tC do offer some performance gains, but nothing radical, and an s-pipe won't help. If you do feel a radical change, it's psychologically proportional to how much money you dropped. If you want big gains, you'll have to boost, or find another car.

And the tC isn't slow, it's the person behind the wheel that is slow.

Despite your claims to the contrary I think you invited comments with this post...but maybe that's just me.

Well to help, TCFROEZEL, I guess getting an S-pipe might help, for some reason my invidia s-pipe had more of a feel then any other bolt-on and it was cheap. But yes they are all right, Gettin more bolt- ons arent going to give you something crazy if you already think the tc is slow. And VVTI is a pulley that adjusts timing based on the conditions. Also drax there have been dynos of bolt-ons gettin to lik 165 untuned.. So make that 15 to about 25 tops lol and last time i rememebered a pulley doesnt add numbers on the dyno.

as for "what kicks in at 3500 rpm?"

nothing is kicking in, your just starting to hit the meaty part of the powerband.

peak torque (for an 05) 4100 rpms, alot of that torque is gathered mid way through 3000 rpms.

Look...ur in a public forum so this is bound to happen, no need to get ur panties in a bunch. A few people have given u answers about the actual thread topic and the rest of us are helping you since you obviously don't know much about ur car. No one was even being rude, they were all helpful comments. And i don't believe "headers" was a typo...a lot of people believe that is what it's called and that it's not pluralized. it's only plural in reference to a non-inline motor such as v6-12, w8...stuff like that because they need more than one header. So calm down, relax, and open up to learn more about ur car, that's what these forums are for.

ok repeat after me....MMW Headers, ARK N2, AEM CAI, Unorthodox Flywheel...you wont reach anywhere near say 200whp however you will DEFINATELY see a significant gain with that setup.
