Default Injen CAI or short ram

I live in Portland so it rains a lot, but since summer is coming, should I convert my Injen into CAI since it's a short ram right now in my car, is the CAI gonna have any better effect or just the same? if the same than I won't waste time put the long ram in...
Thanks

well, in the summer time, SRI tend to suck up the warm air in the engine bay which isnt good, would you noticed a difference is converted to a CAI,na ,but you will know ill bring in Cold air,and it wont be as loud as SRI.....

ill just leave it,no power difference unless your pushing 5500 rpm's alot

you'll lose low end torque, and you'll really feel a small lag when you romp on it

I live in Texas and I have mine as a SRI. You won't feel a difference between the 2. The SRI will have that initial sucking in of hot air when you stand still, but once the car is moving, air gets circulating. My fender well has a ripped up fender liner so no more CAI for me.

I have the Injen SES CAI too. Personally for the relatively small increase I dont think it's worth the risk or hassle to run the full CAI down into the fender. The SRI setup makes for easier maintanence and virtually no risk of hydro-locking from a down pour. About the only way you could hydro-lock a tC with the SRI would be to drive the car into a lake. lol. I don't get into many down pours where I live, but sometimes things happen and there's a deep puddle in the road that you cant avoid. I just dont think a couple hp tops is worth the risk of literally trashing your engine if you suck up water.

Theres a few around the portland area. I think theres like 2 turbo tc, one white and the other FM. I have a 07 BSP. The only thing you can notice on the exterior of my car is my retrofit headlights. Other than that its pretty much all stock.

I had ksport kontrol pro coils, a strup exhaust, injen CAI, and a RS1 front lip. I returned it back to stock about a year ago. But right now i'm more focused on my sound system. Theres a scion car group in the portland area that meet once a month. Theres alot more modded tCs in portland than you might think.
