I also want to hear this since the Injen would probably be my first choice of exhausts. From the dB test, it sounds like it has that deep droning rumble that I like, not ricey like the TRD and a few others. If anyone knows a link to this please post!

i have the injen catback, and I love it. Sounds nice and throaty, and has decent gains by it self.

Man i have no means of showing you how it sounds i have a crappy ___ PC with no audio capture programs. I can tell you that it sounds great, very deep almost silent when idleling. Deeper than TRD and better flowing got me 4hp 5tq not much but something. I believe its the best axleback on the market i have not heard or tested borla but i would also look into them. The Injen unit is very well built stainless steel 3in mendrel bent looks very nice from the back and the side. There are however fitment issues mine scrapes my bumper. This can be easily fixed by bending the flange slowly with a hammer or a heavy set of pliers. PTUNING.COM has them for 324.00 free shipping. :D

Yes i did Dyno my car with the Injen SES, i drive a 4sp auto so the numbers are roughly 11hp and 12 tq les than a 5 sp (numbers vary from dyno to dyno: humidity, temperature, air density, friction ,calibration ,age of machine, all are factors). Most Dynos compensate for the first 3 variables, my numbers are from a Dynojet in relatively new condition . A 4sp is suppose to dyno about 128 hp at the wheels and 129 tq its about 19% drivetrain loss which is very good for an auto. My dyno results are here on this forum under NEW NUMBERS. Here is a link of my best run 3 pulls almost 84 Degrees outside 80 at the dynojet.

That is just with the Injen SES exhaust and a K&N drop in, by the way the stock filter performs just as well. I have however noticed better gas milage with the K&N.

dang I thought the injen was a catback......so are there no catbacks out for our car yet? Everytime I see a post about the new CATBACK out it turns out to be axleback. Does anyone know of a catback out for the tC yet?

the will probly all be axle backs since there is a cat on that pipe its cheaper for these companys to just go where toyota ends the pipe and just go from there they probly figure it is easier to do that rather then rebend every thing after the second cat if they remove it then there not legal any more

Magnaflow will release a true Catback in a month or two just wait it out if you want a catback. As for me im very happy with the Injen SES i know i will be getting a new custom made 3 inch stainless midpipe reaching to the second cat or maybe removing it. Will probably do a custom 3 inch S pipe as well. I got an extended warranty at Scion so i dont know about headers.

By TRD i meant the AEM CAI that was going to be sold by toyota, the one with all the carb issues that has been delayed for eternity. Well the Dynos cost me $70 here in Miami for 3 pulls, i do have a few free pulls next time i go. The Injen flows very well minimum bends great design straight through. If you go to a shop and get a custom made stainless 3 inch midpipe to the first or second cat your set. You have a 5sp so you should be able to put 145hp and 150 tq at the wheels with out the injen . So the best of luck to you.
