Injen passes CARB emissions but AEM can't?
how is it that injen was able to pass the california carb testing and became carb legal but aem can't? that just seems weird. maybe that just goes to show that injen is smarter and their intake is a better one to get.
interesting. so that would mean that k&n could pass too but they probably didn't bother to apply to pass carb because that way they could keep their intake price lower and hopefully get more people to buy theirs because of the low price.
Actually, the Injen is NOT CARB legal. If you check their website, you will see that it is listed for off-road use only. The only way any company, including ours, is going to be able to CARB an intake for the tC is to retain the factory charcoal filter, which robs some serious power from the intake system.

i see now. i was looking at a picture of one on a guy's tc, but i found out it was a camry injen intake on the guy's tc. i thought it was weird why he was using it as a short ram instead of a full cai. that because the full cai tubing won't fit around the tc's engine bay parts because it's designed for the camry's engine bay.
