Default Injen SES no resonator??

Im getting a Injen SES exhaust installed soon and i need to find out if i should take out the resonator and have it be a cat back or just leave it as a axel-back exhaust. Please help and thank you

If you're ordering the whole system, midpipe and axel back, then it's called a catback. If you're ordering just the muffler portion, then it's just an axel back. Removing the resonator, which is part of the midpipe, is just going to make it loud and will require some fab work. Not sure why you'd want to do that. If you want to know what it sounds like, you need to search. Youtube is a good place to start.

Well if you're going to do that you may as well delete the catalytic converter too. Easiest way is to have a shop make you a midpipe and make it 2.5" while you're at it. It's just going to make it louder and possibly a little more raspy.

Well the car has 2 cats on it, so deleting the secondary won't throw a code. The O2 sensor is located on the header, so as long as you leave the primary cat on there you should be ok. You should also see if the Injen is CARB certified, because if it's not then I think they can get you for that from what I've heard.

I have the ses axle back. Everything else is stock. I love the sound and ppl have said it sounds nice and low. Isn't annoyingly loud but enough...
