Default Injen Vibra mounts

Hey, first i tried serching my problem but i didnt find so yeah..

Ok so today i instaled my injen cai but i noticed that i only have 1 vibra mount, i used the only one for my 2nd pipe,..

but it seems tht there was no problem when i didnt instal it forthe first pipe, Can someone tell me if i really need that vibra mount or can i just use like rope to hold it in place...

you should be fine unless your doing short ram. if you do short ram your filter would start getting eatin by the metal rubbing on the filter when reving high. also injen sells vibra mounts for $10

oh ok thanks, how do you feel about the rope thing,
or do you think i should just leave it, its not exacly on the medel, it was a 2inch space between, so yeah, jw

actually there should be two....one to secure the first pipe so it doesnt virbrate and one for the 2nd pipe that mounts on the the subframe where the filter is.....if your only going SRI then you only need one..if going CAI then you need two

If you dont add that 2nd vibrat-mount, its going to add stress to the first vibra-mount which is already infamous for breaking. If you intend to ever drive the car hard, you should really get that 2nd mount.
