Well i just installed my header the other when I got off work. I have the dc sports header, and I did the antifouler mod, 200 miles later I get a CEL o2 sensor bank one is this the primary sensor or the secondary sensor or does bank one refer to both sensors? If it is the the second sensor i'm going to try to add another antifouler.

 

Ohh that sucks, hope its not the primary,2 foulers should of done the trick...

did you install the antifoulers on the spipe or on the header itself?

i dont get why everyone is throwing CEL with a header...is it all types of headers for a tc or just certain ones that are causing CEL's?

 

I believe bank 1 is the A/F ratio sensor on the header, bank 2 is the heated o2 sensor in the S-pipe. Check the service manual in the tech section.

 

any header will throw a cel on the TC the key is getting a header that responds well to the antifouller mod...

 

AW headers respond well to the antifouler, roughly 5K miles...no CEL....

 

ic and where do you buy the antifouler mods...im still lookin for compainies that have good prices and products

 

you either make it your self(costs about 5 to 10$) or you buy it on ebay for 10 to 15$
Most people make it themselves, but i know some don't have the time or tools for it.
good rule is if you paid more than 15$ for it shipped...you got ripped lol

 

OK did some research when I should've been paying bills & doing stuff I NEED to do.

"Bank" = cylinder bank. Since we don't have V6/V8 we only have Bank 1.
"Sensor 1" = wideband oxygen (used as air-fuel ratio) sensor on header
"Sensor 2" = heated oxygen sensor on s-pipe

Check your CEL code to see which sensor has the problem.
