It isn't hard to install. The hardest part is getting the hose ends the right length. I wanted to leave as much hose as possible so that it could flex and not have to worry about anything stressing the glass. I took a few pics yesterday afternoon with my phone. I don't understand why your glass bends so sharply. Also, my fluid is currently pink as well. But I plan on flushing the system and replacing it with red once the spring show season rolls around.
