Default InTake HELP!!!

Alright guys i bought a intake from procarparts.com for my 06' tC, and when i put it using the stock mass air flow senser the car sounded good dont get my wrong but i knew that something wasn't right and it took way to long for the air flow to get used to the intake blah blah... So i took it to my dealer and she told me that the fuel something was infected and that to much gas was flowing in and not getting enough air or something like that... I not really sure... But i spent $150 and wat she's telling me i think is that it's junk but i dont just want to throw it away and the site will only give me store credit (i dont need anything else from there) Can someone help?

Which intake is it? did you reset your ECU and when you did, did you let it idle for a bit? did you happen to touch the sensor while installing it? just trying to get more info, thanks.

^^could have damaged it, they are pretty fragile. Did you reset the ecu after you installed the intake?

The website says "2005 SCION TC COLD AIR INTAKE SYSTEM WITH GENUINE K&N AIR FILTER." Looks like a no name SRI with a K&N filter. So i dunno if the intake is a "good" intake.

If you dropped the MAF that could be the problem. But would it not throw a CEL? May be try to reset ECU.
