its not sucking!!!
when i got my inejn cold air intake fot the tc, when i accelerated i could hear the sound of air sucking in by the CAI, but recently ive noticed i cant hear it anymore..the sound has gotten a loud softer, meaning the air sucking noise has gotten very low...is this normal??
it may be you've just become accustomed to the sound now, but to be on the safe side and to spare yourself any engine troubles, double check your connections. Make sure all the clamps are tight and check your filter to be sure nothing is obstructing the air flow. If it is dirty... clean it. If everything is tight and the filter is clean and free of debris, you should be ok just do a simple test, have a friend at the throttle and you by the filter, have a sheet of paper handy. Have your friend hit the gas and you put the paper by the filter, if it suks the paper to the filter your air flow is fine and your just adjusted to the sound of your intake. If its not getting any suction though I would do a thorough check up of the intake system from the TB to the filter to make sure everything is working properly.
ok thanks...but i just got the intake in about a month ago, is it possible theres a problem already with it? the only thing i do is just punch the gas once in a while from a starting point, could that be it?

1. Open hood.
2. Start car.
3. Wait about ten seconds.
4. Roll down window.
5. Put head out window.
6. Stop car.
7. Listen for sucking sound present for about half a second after you kill the ignition.

the intake shoud make a low tone to a loud roar if you floor it from low rpm to high rpm (respectively)
there is probably no problem with it at all. even though it has only been about a month you may have gotten used to it by now. you may want to check all your connections and clamps to make sure there is no "leak." like most people have said, there is probably nothing wrong, good luck.
Your ECU probably adjusted to having the intake there instead of the stock intake box.
That, or you're not punching your gas pedal just to hear your intake make that cool 'hiss' sound anymore.
