Best of all, it puts up with people who are absolutely convinced that it's the best thing on 4 wheels, and consistently beat the **** out of it.
Some of us were not in the position to purchase a sports car, and the tC's a good consolation prize. I "like" my tC, but I look forward to the day I'm in something much more substantial.

Do you know how much money WR used for that car? With the money they used you couldve used any car, they coudve picked a Ford Taurus and turned it into a 700hp machine.
Isnt the WR tC a RWD conversion as well?

i dont understand these guys and no the world racing car is not rear wheel drive. well at least not the one im talking bout. there rear wheel drive makes a lot more power and with a different motor so that dont count. im talking bout the awd and the ta one. both of those will be running the 2azfe motor with over 700. im not saying go and make that power either im not saying spend the money. be real. I am just stating that this motor can make the power you just have to have the funds and the know how to do it. witch will be the same for any other car make too. you have to pay to play and i know world racing is going to start making a lot more products for our cars that is going to make it a lot more fun to drive. i hope all these haters grow out of the tc and go buy themselves something in the 30k+ price range and get whooped up on by the right tc. haha its capable. time and money are the limit when it comes to cars.
why do these people even have a scionlife if they are just going to bash on everyone.

The best news is that there is much more power to be gained in his motor. The valvetrain is where it's "at" for N/A motors, which can be illustrated in how Honda gets so much power out of their small motors. Once he starts working on the valvetrain with a heavy cam, and tuning it right, he'll likely reach 200-220.
At that point, he's maxed out. But he's done something that many lesser-talented people just fantasize about.

Congrats on those numbers, I hope to come close with a DME Header, Indivia S-Pipe and custom Mid-Pipe to replace the Megan Mid-Pipe I'm running currently.

See thread in suspension section for testing methods and details... but of course, it got overlooked in favor of all the "OMG WAT SPRINGS SHULD I GET" threads.

2) If a Scion tC beats me at anything in the future, congrats to the owner. In the end, buying a turbo kit, tuning it, maintaining it, and fixing it WHEN it breaks will be worth it, to them, when they beat my car in acceleration.... but in the end, they've spent about $30k too, just to different part manufacturers, instead of to the vehicle marquee.
On the way home, I'm still driving the $30k car, with far less hassle.
Let's play a game... If someone offered you an STi, or a 300hp tC... which would you pick? Throw on handling modifications to the tC, so it's equivalent. Would you take the tC then?
3) I don't hate my tC, I just don't love it like I hoped I would. To be honest, I regret not buying the slightly used RSX-S on the lot next door.... but for some odd reason, I had a specific desire to own a brand-new vehicle for a change. And no, my parents have not financially supported me since the end of highschool 8 years ago, in case you were wondering.
4) I'm on Scionlife because, despite my lack of "love," I still very much like my car. It has done everything I've ever asked. If you look at versatility, what other car can run very low 15's, handle very well, get 30mpg, fit a 10-foot PVC pipe in the compartment, seat 4 people, and actually turn a few heads now and then? Very few.
id still take the scion. haha thats just cause it has grown on me. I have pushed mine to different levels than most and has really showed me how durable it is. i would not mind driving a scion over a subaru.
something smells funky... ive seen ppl get those number with out cracking the block open on stock compression and good bolt ons... th TQ curve just doesnt match up with the way typical tc's put down. not even my own. and theres nothing fancy about the intake.. just a velocity stack on the end with an extension that curves.
take off that safc... its not helping you also.

I think its best if we all just stop taking up the OP thread with useless info.
