ok so i just installed my magnaflow axleback........i though i had made a giant mistake in my attempt to get ZERO rasp.... as soon as i intalled it with my stock converter and resonator and alphawerks header it was SO embarrassing i couldnt even drive the car the rasp was unbelievable.. so i brought it to a local muffler shop and they installed a 12 inch resonator in front of my stock one and....... walllllaaaaaaaaaaaa NO rasp at all its sounds awesome im so happy so for all of you who are looking for no rasp that sdef the way to go !!!!!! nice deep tone just what i was looking for i will post a sound clip as soon as i figure out how to do in correctly

 

So your set-up goes like this AW Header, Stock S-pipe, Stock mid-pipe & Magnaflow Axle back right? I was thinking about getting the magnaflow, but I don't know now after you said it's raspy. Now I have to look elsewhere. Thanks for the info.

 

no it was raspy b4 i added the 12 inch resonator ...... after the resonator the rasp is less than it was b4 the axleback now there is zero rasp.... i wanted nothing more that a deep tone with NO rasp and that def what i got........ my set up is as follows........... AW HEADER--STOCK S PIPE---STOCK CAT---12 INCH RESONATOR----STOCK RESONATOR----MAGNAFLOW AXLEBACK.......couldnt be happier if u want zero rasp this is def the setup to get!!!!!!
