Agreed . I put my TWM shifter and weighted shift **** in as soon as I got my 06 Superwhite TC home. It's night and day. No more rowing the boat shifting gears . Definately a must do mod. Only took me 30 minutes to do from start to finish. Congrats man .

The TWM is one of the greatest mods you can do next to springs/shocks and sways upgrades.

$60 to install it.. what a rip off. I installed mine in about 30-40 minutes and I've never installed a short shifter before.

Not really. Shops usually charge by the hour, and $60 is a very typical hourly rate. Even if they take 20 minutes to put it in, they can't charge you for 20 minutes of labor.

I got lucky. I got mine from a fellow ScionLifer. Here is what I paid:
$50 TWM Short Shifter
$30 TWM Stainless Weighted ****
$0 Install I do my own work
Total = $80

I'm glad my shifter is not that short. I stubby shifter isn't always the greatest idea. The throw reduction is what you want not the height.

yea, but i whenever i looked at the stock shifter it always looked like her car was just as excited as i was to see her. I personally like it better like that and she loves it short too (only in her car though )

i just meant someone with a TWM short shifter on his tC. its not bad at all. i actually chopped mines with a jig saw and the throw reduction is exactly the same as the twm but mine takes alot more effort to shift. compare to the TWM short shifter, thats exactly where my **** is...

I just ordered the TWM shift **** stainless steel, should come in this wednesday. it should reduced the effort for shifting on my chopped thrower..

i bet comboing a TWM shifter and TWM shift **** feels like your pushing a feather!

plus TWM is the only company at this moment (i dont know who else) that makes weighted (also has the heaviest) shift **** BOLT-ON and SCREW-ON installation all in one!! also if your shift thrower has no threads you can make a special order for a no threaded shiftknob (just bolt on install) from TWM at no additional cost! this adds abit more space to put the **** in further..
