my friend is offering to sell me a k & n cold air intake that he has. he had it on his tC, but another part of his engine messed up (dont ask me, i have no clue) so he had to take it out. he wants to sell it to me for the same price he got it for, which is 200$. he only had it on his for about a month or 2. but he also said that if i could find another k & n intake for cheaper, that he would sell it to me for that price. do you think its worth it? or should i get one of those cheaper / other named intakes off of ebay or something for like 50 bucks?

 

and i know there is a topic at the top about intakes, but i dont think it said anything about used k&n's

 

it depends if u have patience. I got my k&n intake for $100 off the forums. And injen intakes go for like $150 sometimes on here and those make the most HP. So it's basically up to how long u can wait for a good deal.

2006. i dont need it anymore guys, thanks alot though. i just got off the phone with him and i managed to talk him down to 120. im super stoked

 

Just make sure all of the brackets are intact. If they are broken (known problem with K&N), you will need to replace them.
