Default Kearny Mesa Scion Show Car

we just installed the dc header and trd exhaust and were also waiting to install the weapon R intake on tuesday. all i can say is that were going to start carrying the dc header in our parts dept. we've done the trd filter and trd exhaust combo but by far the biggest gain in feel is the header with the exhaust. from idle to redline you can feel a difference between stock or filter and exhaust tC's. the sound took a little getting used to cause it sounds completely different with just the trd exhaust. it s a lot louder at wot but at cruising speeds its still bearable without an annoying drone.

we also did the tein s techs vs trd which we've done in the past on project cars and customer vehicles. we did the same with the short shifter and went with b&m. a couple things that we thought of was a momo type steering wheel which we haven't done and hid conversions. we might just go ahead with the hid since we get a lot of people inquiring about it.

i'll have pics of the car when we get the weapon R intake and hid's on the vehicle on tuesday. also, we did the tC r.s. 1.0 for the project since its different and it already has a few aesthetic differences compared to the regular tC.

trd makes header's for other toyota's and they're not carb legal. they all say for "off road use only" but people use them anyway. we just have to disclose that to the customer and they have to sign a waiver.

And hopefully it's done properly and a retro-fit is performed.

why is it that you guys are the only dealer in SD to know of 2006 tCs, every other dealer i went to seems to be absolutely clueless about them. i should be buying a tC from you guys in about 2 weeks =) any BSP or FM Auto's coming in soon?

I wish there was a TC around my parts with some of these things (I/H/E) so I could hear them in person for myself.
