Ok so i got my income tax and i kept going from ZPI to NSt sites back and forth. So for 99 dollars you cant you wrong right? well i saw one problem and that is my question. Is the NST pulley smaller than stock and smaller than ZPI v2 pulley

yes. I believe the NST is an underdrive pulley set. It has a smaller pulley for even more power increase but by decreasing power to the accessories such as the AC.

yes the NST is smaller than stock. and yes it will decrease power to your accessories. you won't even notice it though but they also make a overdriver alternator pulley, and a lightweight water pump pulley. so that will take care of the power decrease.

Thats right, for $99 bucks you can not go wrong. You get a very nice annodized pulley, in a choice of colors, that has been tested for quality.

The NST pulley is smaller which will underdrive the accessories. But in my experience, I have never seen any negative effects with the NST pulleys that I have been using, and many around here can back that up as well. The only time people with underdrive pulleys have reported any problems has been when they have been running HUGE audio/video systems, in which case NST has even come out with an overdrive alternator pulley to speed up the alternator and help out in that department. This way you get the best of both worlds.

Lightening a crank pulley will increase throttle responce, while underdriving will send less power to the accessories, and more to the wheels. NST crank pulleys do both.

but on that note, ima go crawl under a rock as i feel so blatantly retarded after reading the giant post about the NST pulleys. I dont know if it was all the tech talk or the fact that it existed that got me... :\

Nah man, don't feel bad. You will not learn unless you ask. And to answer your question, YES. The gains are pretty noticeable

well i am gonna do a giant package on my car. I am getting the AW header, and full catback exhaust (toss up between magnaflow and draxas but leaning towards magnaflow) and i guess ill do the pulleys also for 100. After reading the thread i wouldn't mind some added throtle response. Also the CC s-pipe with 30" magnaflow resonator. Should be quite the noticable gain once i put them all one at once.

Off subject but you can't have a resonator on an s-pipe. You can, however get the CC full catback and add that resonator

hmm, got another question about these pulleys. Do you need to replace them if you get a supercharger? would be a waste if i get them and then get a supercharger in the future if that's the case.

so i guess u can use the NST underdrive w/ the supercharger...? I just know the SC has it's own pulley but not sure if changing all the other ones would affect it. Just know ZPI has a SC pulley for a a higher compression ratio.

sorry, i'm a n00b, dunno much about how the supercharger works w/ the belt and pulleys.

no, you should get the NST overdrive pulley if your getting the supercharger (its not out yet, but when it does it will work with the supercharger to raise the boost too ) just talk to anyone from NST on AIM @ NSTonAIM and they will answer any questions you have.
