Is it worth getting a light weight crank pulley? Does it really give you 10 hp? I want to know your opinion, PLEASE......

Is the ZPI pulley just a lightweight pulley or a underdrive pulley? I had a set of AEM underdrive alternator and p's pullies for a 2000 Accord V6 and they were awesome.

 

The ZPI crank pulley is a lighter version of the stock pulley, same size but lighter.

You can get an underdrive crank, alternator, and water pump pulleys from www.NonStopTuning.com that will give you some nice gains

 

they're just lightweight pulleys.

wow, u're lucky it works. my friend tried the UR underdrive pulley set on his 1998 Accord V6 coupe and it literally killed the car in just 2 days, the crappy stock alternator died.

 

Gotta reccoment NST, awsome service, great shipping and never a worry. Why buy like most on here and have to complain for months, buy NST and be happy for life.

is there a significant wieght difference between the ZPI and the NST pulley, the ZPI looks lighter, but looks can be deciving.....thanks for the pic, and the information.

 

160 is for the alt. pulley, and water pump pulley, its about 260 for the 3 of them, which is still a great price, for 3 pulleys, and close to 10+ hp, thats more than what'd you get from an intake.

 

idk but according to WeDriveScions FAQ thread, the NST pulley is about 1/3 the weight of the stock one.

are thier more/ better gains with the 3?

 

ive had both on my car, ZPI and have the NST under crank on now
i feel there is a nice difference between the two, and i am actually happier with the NST than my ZPI
