Default lightweight crank pulley on an auto?

Is it a good idea for someone with an auto tranny to get a ZPI light weight crank pulley? I want to get one for a little extra punch, but I'm not totally sure if it would work well with an auto tranny. And I don't want anything about about "You should have gotten a 5 speed," or " That part will mess up your engine because it isn't safe for any tC."
