Default Limp mode no check engine light

Hey guys I have an 08 scion tc. Driving great then out of no where went into limp mode with no check engine light. It will idle like a sewing machine but will not go over 2500 rpm’s. I’ve already replaced the maf sensor, CSP sensor, all four plugs and coil packs. I have a throttle body and an upstream O2 sensor ordered. Any ideas would be appreciated thanks.

The check engine light is emissions related. You might need a scanner to determine limp mode related codes.

What 62fender said.

It could also be the injectors and they are badly misfiring. This has happened to me. I keep a couple injectors and coils in my ride and some tools to swap them out while on the road. Instead of having to wait for a tow to get me back home. Sometimes a coil will go bad on me causing a misfire or failing injector causing misfire. So I just swap them out quickly. Like changing a flat tire. lol
