ok.. so i decided to blow $1000 on mods which is basically my paycheck. Help me spend that $1000 on some power mods. However, if you think $1000 is a lot of money.. it's actually not that much..

i've already got stereo system, wheels, springs, short shift, and other smaller mods, etc.. etc.. but what i NEED is intake, exhaust, and sway bars.

intake = Injen? K&N? Weapon R? custom short ram with cone filter for cheap?
header = Alpha, DC, Megan? or should i wait for the Weapon R one?
midpipe = catback with resonator. How much does a muffler shop usually charge to make something like this?
exhuast = Injen? Blitz? full catback Megan Racing? Borla?
sways = Progress, TRD, Hotchkis?

Carbon Fiber Hood? = the one i want from Fiber FX is $400.. so almost half my money. hmmm.

i figure with $1000.. i could probably get 1 of each from the list.. soo.. how about it? help me pick the setup?

intake = i would say weapon R, keep in mind they go bye bye if you choose to go forced induction later

header = alphawerks

midpipe = not sure where you're getting just the mid-pipe but a full exhaust will be very nice with the right choice of noise killers

exhaust = see above

sways = hotchkis

 

if you want power... get a greddy exhaust ($450), weapon r intake ($200), megan header ($250), and you have $100 extra for shipping, but, if you got the free shipping, you can get a strut bar, (could be DC Sports or Tanabe)

 

I personally like the HKS and Blitz units out there, not necessarily the cheapest but high quality stuff.

I would say throw an underdrive crank pulley into that mix, less than 100 bucks and is definitely one of the best HP per $$ mods. You can check out NST, www.NonStopTuning.com for info.
