Default Looking to buy CAI for 06' tC..

So far I like AEM @ ~15 bhp gain and the TRD intake just cuz it's got the TRD name and also the bypass valve to prevent hydrolock, even though I'm not sure I'll be driving through THAT much water..and it's kinda pricey. Does anyone recommend any CAI's that are CARB legal (if they exist), know any other ~ bhp gains for other CAI's, or know a good explanation of how a fowler works so my CEL stays off? I could always just switch the intakes when inspection time comes around I suppose ...The CEL would bug the hell outta me though. Don't know if anyone remembers me. Been MIA for awhile... Won second place @ the Scion Backstage in Monroeville last year.

Thanks for the help in advance =)

Info on a header or downpipe that's CARB legal would be sweet too.

CARB legality won't do anything for you in PA. CEL won't turn on with the TRD or Injen or AEM intakes.

I'm moving this to the correct section

Thanks for the offers guys. I think I'm going to go with the AEM or TRD (depending if the TRD voids the warrenty or not). Something like this I'd just rather buy new. Half cuz how I am, half cuz of it being an aftermarket part that impacts how my car runs. Thanks for the offers tho, 160 injen shipped is an insanely good deal other wise. AEM intakes are quoting +15 gained horsepower though. Not saying I'm convinced with that number, but I know 2 people with AEM intakes who are insanely happy with every last penny to this day they've spent on their intakes. And AEM is pretty much TRD....they both make the same quality products for the tC, in my opinion after research I've done.
