looking for dynos of underdrive pullys??
im looking for dynos of underdrive pullys i did a search and couldnt realy find to mutch
i found a track that is open on january first and i want to be the first to hit 14's so the easiest way for me to do this will be with a under drive pully *asuming zpi's claimed .3 sec shaving off 1/4 times is accurate* but i want to know witch is the best perfromance wise
i have heared of the zpi dynoing a 9-10hp free up but i havent realy seen any dynos for any of the other pullys if you have any dynos please post them up
(when i go to the track this time i will have a camera with me for videos)

Has a dyno sheet on the bottom. Same pulley as ZPI.

This has already been posted before, but here it is again...
Aftermarket crank pulleys generally fall into one of two categories:
A) Light weight stock sized pulleys (Unorthodox or ZPI)
B) Light weight underdrive pulleys (NonStopTuning aka NST)
You should certainly feel faster acceleration as a result of any of these pulleys,
almost everyone who installs one of these pulleys notices a difference.
There are two benefits to aftermarket crank pulleys:
1. Light-weight aftermarket pulleys are often lighter than the stock pulley,
I believe both the NST and ZPI pulley weigh about 1lb. Less rotating mass leads to faster acceleration and better throttle responce.
2. Underdrive aftermarket pulleys slow down accessories,
By definition underdrive means to slow down. So underdrive pulleys send a little bit less HP to the accessories and more to the drive wheels.
So in theory, an underdrive crank pulley, like the NST one, SHOULD put down more HP than just a light-weight pulley if put on a dyno. Unfortunately no one has actually used both to get a side by side comparison yet.
I like the NST stuff myself, it is cheaper, is available in different colors, and most important of all makes more horsepower. Unorthodox is very well known and has been around for a long time, hence their parts are often overpriced. The Agency power pulley is the same one that ZPI sells and is basically the same spec as the UR.
I think with a 3 piece pulley kit from NST you should be able to knock off .2 to .3 seconds off your 1/4 mile times. In fact I hope you do so you can silence some of the nay sayers

That's a lot of Pulls....... $$$.
Hope either ZPI or Agency Power or NST could do that.... although, for marketing purposes... might not be a good idea if the HP's are lower in higher gears....
I know If I were them, I post the highest HP I could get...

im running 15.2's almost constinat now and with the under drive i should be 15.0 or hopefully 14.9 with my new exhaust and also dumped my ____y filter for a aem dry filter
i also think the 10 degree weather will help some also as long as i can warm the tires up enough to get traction
but we will see i guess and im sold on the zpi now thanks for the dyno ill be ordering once my rsm is sold
hey dude, I'm still a noob here but I saw your post and thought I would chime in. I dont have a dyno sheet for you but I've been using some NST stuff on my new tC. I can tell you there is a definite increase in acceleration and overall "feel" to my car now. Get the full NST kit and you wont be sorry!
