loud engine sound? will synethic oil improve this situation?

I got really really loud engine sound and when i accelerate it has some whistling sound, my question is will changing to syth oil fix these problems? is it safe to change at 67k miles. Thank you!

What kind of engine noise are you hearing. If it's very loud, no engine oil will fix it, not even synthetic oil. Well actually none of the oils out there can quite a noisy engine.
