Does anyone have a sound clip of Magnaflow exhaust and AW header? how does it sound like? I have k&n CAI(thinking of getting injen soon) and AW header but right now with stock exhaust... How's the sound and gain with magnaflow? anyone?

You will probably get a lot of rasp. I just had the factory resonator replaced with a 30" magnaflow resonator and it removed all of the raspiness. Just try it out and see if you like it. If it is raspy then add a resonator and it will sound fine.

 

The AW header is finicky with exhausts... you almost HAVE to get a resonator to make the rasp go away...

 

hmm.. so magnaflow and AW will be great? How's the sound? deep? or the gains?

yea i was thinkin of getting a resonator... 30' huh... thats pretty big isnt it?

 

I have the PrecisionMuffler.com Axleback, which uses a magnaflow muffler and mine sounds AWESOME.... But, I run the Megan Racing Header.

With a resonator, you'll get a good deeper sound.

 

Its a little bit longer than the stock one but fits with plenty of room to spare. I am so so happy with it now that I have it

 

I reallly think the magnaflow option is the best sounding exhaust with header option out there....

 

i think he means 30" as in inches not 30' as in feet

 

Most of the problems that I read on this board is probably due to the O2 Sensor being damaged during the install process, hopefully ZPI will help you out w/the 02 simulator if that is where the problem is.

as for 02 sensor.. damage eh? That's soemthing i havent read about... I just got the antifouler trick and its workin for me.. but... how would the 02 be damaged?
