Financing through Pay Pal? Pay Pal doesn't finance, they
are basically just an online bank/transaction agency.

Sorry I can't help beyond that.

Do what I did, use your 0% APR till (insert month here) 2006 and charge it on there. Then you have about 6-7 months to make payments without being charged APR. Summer is coming so 2-3 grand shouldnt be that hard to make.

Oh yeah, Pay Pal now has Credit Cards...so maybe they
were talking about getting approved for a Pay Pal CC and
using that to "finance" the kit...that would make more sense.

I work for GE Consumer Finance, the bank that owns that Credit Card for Paypal. I wouldnt sign up for it, its very high interest , high late fees things like that. Youd be better off putting it on a regular credit card

you can use "PAYPAL BUYER CREDIT" its like an online credit card with "NO FINANCE or INTEREST" , ofcourse they limit the credit that they give you but if you wanna purchase a turbo...........

Call paypal and tell them that you want to purchase something big (turbo kit) on your paypal buyer credit, and what they will do is they will raise the credit limit for the amount of purchase and within 24 hours they will put your credit limit back to what you started. so you pretty much paying for the turbo with no finance...

or paypal probably wont let you raise that much credit but lets you use half of whats the turbo kit worth...

you guys should try it, use paypal buyer credit for online purchases instead of an actual credit card, because paypal buyer credit does not finance no interest. you pay what you get....

also PAYPAL BUYER CREDIT IS STRICTLY FOR ONLINE PURCHASE.....

go sign up for a citi dividens card. THey not only give you cash back on your purchase but you also have like 0% APR introductory for x months or something. Its awesome. NO, I don't work for Citi.

No your talking about the same thing. It technically isnt a credit card, but we handle it like its a credit card. And like someone pointed out, it has really high interest. I listen to people collect on those all day long at my job.
