Default Megan Axelback or Cat back?

Hey guys I'm getting one of the two exhaust systems listed above but I need some opinions. I like how the axelback has more of an oem look to it, and I know that the catback will end up giving me more hp and it will be louder but Im not sure which one to go with. Both sound pretty good and I dont want too loud of an exhaust just something that is louder than my stock exhaust and something that will make my car sound a little bit meaner. I really dont care for the look of the catback because it looks like it has to be mounted from the side almost. Before I buy anything for my car I like to get some feedback from you guys since you guys always know what your talking about. So any advice you can give me would be appreciated thanks!

axleback, the difference in HP between catback and axleback is next to nothing. Plus it probably won't be worth the extra noise in the long run.

Go with the cat back. I got one my self and i have to say, it sounds amazing. Besides, if you decide to upgrade to a full exhaust later on... its almost complete.

OK well I have two different opinions... lol... I was listening to them on youtube and from what I can hear the axelback actually sounds better to me. Not quiet but not overly loud, I dont want to sound like a speed racer, I just want that raspy tone. I was looking at the TRD axelback but its kinda pricey, is the magan racing axelback a good setup?

I think she means a sporty deep grumble, not rasp.

yeah i dont want anything overly loud just something that sounds descent, I have heard a few catbacks an they are all too loud for what I am looking for, so I was either looking at the trd or megan axel back

ive looked into those, but man there is too much selection lol.... I am now looking into the precision muffler, or the borla axel back any feedback on the sound? Im not sure tho, I think i just might go with a TRD axel back and CAI. I want my car to be as OEM as possible mechanically wise so I dont void the warranty, and in case something goes wrong u know how dealers can be.... will it sound good tho? I heard that if you get a trd axel back with a header it doesnt sound good is this true?

No exhaust sounds good if you throw on a header if you dont have a Hi-Flow Cat or resonators. Im personally not a fan of how the Borla exhaust sounds on the tC. SP2, Magnaflow, or PM would be my choice.

id say get the axle-back of your liking, then grab the zpi midpipe if you want the upgrade later. me, im just a catback man myself. the difference in power may be minimal with exhaust only, but it makes up for it with later modifications.
