Im going to be buying the megan drift spec cat back soon for my tc...and ive heard that i should buy the megan S pipe as well if i want the full powergain potential. My question is, does it really make a difference in power gain to buy the S pipe as well, and does it affect the exhaust sound at all?

 

if your not getting header, dont bother. it doesnt really effect anything besides its size

 

yea, i already have the megan header...sorry shoulda mentioned that.

 

imo megan kinda sucks. the midpipe bottlenecks at a certain point. lots of people have it on here and like it tho. if you're just in it for sound, skip the header and s-pipe and the exhaust alone sounds pretty damn good.

 

then get spipe.

but itll be raspy anyways with the header

 

get something with 2.5 in diameter

 

I like mine and I have an spipe as well but im thinking of getting a 2.5in setup...not sure how much better thats going to be

 

GL with the drift spec if you already have a header. i swapped exhausts. it was obnoxious and it sounded like a civic.

 

mine was pretty fricken loud haha but I through a resonator on it...helped a lot w/ the loudness and rasp

ive got the megan header with a N1 cat back and its hella loud but rele raspy but its not 2 bad i kinda like it ill prolly get a resinator tho i miss my old deep sound
