Hey i was thinking about Selling My TRD exhaust and getting this exhaust and doing custom piping. Its a universal fit muffler and they offer it with a 2.4" inlet and a 2.9" inlet. I have no clue which one would be best, someone help me out please.

 

Um... any particular reason you'd want to get rid of something as nice as a TRD exhaust for a generic universal fit muffler?

 

x2 on that. 2.4 is a bit big for a NA application. lots of bolt ons I'm pretty sure(but could be wrong) are 2.25"

much rather have a bolt on IMO then a weld on universal exhaust. cause then later down the road all u can do is unbolt and bolt on a new one

 

the stock id is 2.25 i beleave so you would prolly want to go with that 2.4...the exhaust shop will take a piece of pipe expand it so it will fit snug inside the muffler end.

 

I think stock is 2.13" but aftermarkets are usually 2.25"

maybe im thinking od or something.... I know the od of my megan mid and s-pipe are 2.5 (2.25-2.3 id)

 

yeah OD is 2.5" for aftermarket pipes. but for stock OD i think its 2.25"

 

haha, i like the trd exhaust, its not as loud as i would like and its so restrictive, need something more free flowing, was thinking megan drift spec also, i see what ya'll mean about the welding and the bolt on though.

 

Sell me your TRD LOL.

 

if i get this drift spec exhaust by the end of the month i'll get back with you on that.
