Default Megan Midpipe

So there's a pretty good deal on ebay for a megan midpipe for the tc, and I'm thinking about getting it. Install will be simple but I'm wondering if the megan midpipe would be worth it. the deal is 145.00 with free shipping. Pretty good since all the others are almost 200. I'd hate to let the deal go, but then again, how good is the megan midpipe? How much horsepower will it add? Probably just 2 or 3 hp. If that. I also have the trd axelback so how would it sound with the midpipe? I'm just trying to make up my mind, any insightful advice would be helpful. Has anybody done this before, that recommends it or not? Thanks in advance. Also, does the midpipe remove the catalytic converter or not. I know there are 2 on the tc. One close to the header and one somewhere in the middle, i think near the down pipe but I'm not sure. I just don't want to have to put the stock mid back on every time I get an inspection, just because Pennsylvania lawmakers have their heads up their asses with emissions nonsense.

The main catalytic converter is integrated with the exhaust manifold, the secondary is at the forward most part of the midpipe. As long as you don't install a header you should be good at visual inspection. There are exhaust threads stickied above for info and video clips. A search will get you the answers you need faster than waiting for reply here, it's not a new product.

The Tsudo midpipe is cheaper and sounds the same.

As you can see people have done it before, and I think it sounds pretty good. It's a good deal but don't buy it if you're expecting much of a hp gain. If it's the sound you're after, buy it.

It does remove the secondary cat. I'm no expert on the laws in PA, but you should be able to pass emissions.

I would recommend it but I'm a bit biased since I have a megan midpipe sitting in my garage, which will be installed as soon as I can get the rusty s-pipe bolts unstuck
