Does anyone have the Megan midpipe paired with the TRD axleback? I am looking to get a used midpipe locally, but still use the stock S-pipe and exhaust manifold. I am just curious as to how much louder it will be? I am just looking to give the car some more tone while not going crazy at the same time.

 

i had megan s pipe>midpipe>trd axleback and it sounded really good. i loved it. much more noticeable but definitely not loud enough to get the cops attention. i have a vid of it but you cant really see anything just hear it.

 

I think that your video was the one I checked out, do you have a couple with the megan oe-rs setup too?

As long as you don't run a header then it will get a little bit deeper, because of going 2.25 to 2.5 piping, it wont be that much louder.

 

sounds great to me.

 

once you add the header to that parts setup it sounds horrid even with resonators,no header sounds great,not too loud,and good deep roar to it.

 

ive got the trd axleback with a magnaflow short resonator and i love the sound of my setup.

 

This car will never get a header, the factory one seems fine for a stock car, and even if I were to add the TRD blower to the mix I think I would keep the stock manifold/header.

 

It will sound great then......no worries.
