Default ? Megan Racing Drift Spec Exhaust Problem ?

I just put this exhaust on about 2 weeks ago, everything went on straight bolt on, no problems, all of sudden I start hearing a weird rattle. I go underneath the car this morning a I find that there is this black bar that goes across the bottom off the car that I had to take off to put the exhaust on, now the exhaust is resting on the bar and its making the rattle. What is the purpose of this bar and can I just take it off, it doesn't rattle all the time, just when i'm coasting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I really just want to take the bar off but if people say its important then i want to either wrap the bar with muffler tape to silence the rattle or just clamp the pipe to the bar so it doesn't rattle, im afraid that if i let the rattle go on its going to do damage to the pipe.

no need. buy two worm clamps and put them around the rubber bushings and tighten it up till it lifts it off the black bar. I did it and works great, plus if the bar is nesscerary you wont have to take it off.

you can also use that same thing on the last hanger to lift your exhaust up a little and make it fit better.

Its incredably easy to fix, take about four washers for each bolt and place it in between the car and the brace. It puts its away from the pipe and fixes the rattle.

I just left that piece off, I'm almost positive it's not necessary. LikeBlckdoutTC said it's just there to "catch" the exhaust if it magically falls.
