Ok, so now im contemplating just selling the injen and buying either the angency power exhaust or the ark dt-s. Both similar priced only the agency is 2.25" piping and the dt-s is 2.5. Opinions?

 

I liked my injen exhaust when all I had was the axle back. Now it sounds like crap so I think I'm gonna sell my megan midpipe and go custom. Any taker's???

 

definitely go custom, the only draw back is you will not have a shiny piece of jewelry. The place where I get all my piping done is Velasquez Muller by O’Hare airport. I bought my muffler of choice on eBay, brought it into them. Explained how I wanted it done. and everything was $150. The piping was a 2.5 inch and mandrel bend all the way. includes a 1 year warranty. the only thing is I was hawking them the whole time to do a clean job. check em out

 

^^Im gona go custom before I think about purchasing a new exhaust. However, I did hear that with a header the injen does get very raspy, even with a resonator in the mid-pipe.

 

o it does...but I want to fix that and still keep the muffler. The Injen has such a clean look and suits the car quite nicely. Not over sized or tacky like most bolt on exhausts for this car.

 

2.25 / thread... 2.5 is over kill if you are not boosting or making anything over 190 whp+...
